Deep in the forest of the southernmost reaches of Sweden, ceramic artist Pernilla Norrman digs clay from the ground of an abandoned brickyard. Känslan av att leran ligger fast, a film by Pernilla Norrman and Terese Mörnvik, depicts the artist and her symbiotic relationship with clay, a soil closely connected with the history of human community, as both a building material and an artefact.
The new H&M album Clay features music from the film. H&M stands for Henrik Meierkord and Matts Persson. They capture memories of a particular place and the reminiscence of a specific past with melodies and moods created by cello and piano.
